Installation Instructions
NB: These instructions apply to most surfaces, including phones, laptops, cars, and glass.
1. Clean the surface
Thoroughly clean the glass/surface with an appropriate cleaner (glass cleaner for glass, surface cleaner for other materials).
Ensure the area is completely dry, dust-free, and free from wax or polish before applying the decal.
2. Separate the yellow backing from the white film
Very slowly peel back the yellow protective backing to expose the white film holding the vinyl decal. Start from a corner, peeling from bottom to top and carefully watch the lettering to make sure it remains on the white film, not the yellow sheet.
If any part of the decal lifts onto the yellow backing, stop and press it back down onto the white film before continuing.
3. Apply the decal & remove the white film
Position the decal (still attached to the white film) on the surface. Once aligned, firmly press the decal down.
Using a credit card or similar tool, press the decal from the centre outward to remove all air bubbles. Repeat several times to ensure full adhesion.
Once secured, very slowly peel back the white film, leaving the decal adhered to the surface.
4. Install in warm weather
For best adhesion, install the decal on a warm or hot day.
Heat helps the adhesive bond more strongly to the surface.
5. Avoid cold or wet conditions
Do not install the decal in cold, rainy, or very humid weather, as the vinyl may struggle to bond properly.
6. No washing for 2–3 days
Avoid washing the surface or applying high-pressure water for 2–3 days after installation - especially in cold or wet conditions.
Important
Failure to follow these steps may result in the vinyl lifting, peeling, or falling off.
